Hyojin Paik, A.K.A BEKZIN, is a visual artist currently residing in Seoul, Korea. Her works are heavily influenced by the cultural differences between her life in Korea and the United States. Bekzin’s pieces blur the lines between graphic design, gallery work, and illustration, and her past works include editorial illustrations, independent book publishing, and album covers. Her current works are focused on how delivering a narrative with visual expression can differ depending on the different thresholds, such as graphic novels, picture books, the web, and so on.
